Many economists and financial analysts have contended that entrepreneurs are the backbone of any economy. In a time of recession, entrepreneurs are made even more important. Part of what has made America so successful as a country and as an economy is the spirit of entrepreneurship that has always been present. Creating new, thriving, businesses is essential to escaping a recession. Michael Trimarco is an entrepreneur who believes in the American spirit of creating and running your own business—of being your own boss. Trimarco has accomplished a good deal in the business world in the relatively short time he has been an entrepreneur. Michael Trimarco is successful because he has varied interests and skills, so he has been able to be successful in various industries.

Michael Trimarco received his Bachelor’s degree in Science from the Ivy League school based in Ithaca, New York—Cornell. In 1997 he graduated with an MBA Harvard, an education that prepared him for the reality of the business world. Getting a high quality education was indispensable to his future success.

Trimarco started work in 1999 by working at GE Capital. He went on to work briefly with Lehman Brothers Trading before he started a number of his own businesses. He has been able to generate over $300 million through these businesses and continues to experience success.
